Keys Energy Services (KEYS) recently renovated the Fleets and Facilities center in the Ralph Garcia Building at its Stock Island Generating Facility. The project also included installing 75-kilowatts* of solar on the roof of the building utilizing $550,000 of KEYS’ British Petroleum settlement funding. The power generated by the solar panels will be used to power the Ralph Garcia Building.
*Kilowatt – A unit of power equal to 1,000 watts.
